Volunteer at the Garage Sale!

There is much work that goes into Garage Sale and we absolutely cannot do it without the help of many adult volunteers. Whether you are a parent/guardian of a youth or just a church member who wants to help out ALL adults must have a current background check on file with the church and have completed Ministry Safe training. Both the background check and the training expire every 2 years. These must be completed by May 31st. The week leading up to Garage Sale and the week of are too busy for our youth staff to be able to process adult volunteer requests after that date. Any adult who does not complete both will not be able to help with the sale. First Baptist Bryan is committed to our child protection policies and we cannot make exceptions.

To sign up to work Garage Sale 2024 as an adult (anyone over the age of 18 who is not a current high school senior) please fill out the following form and any necessary training or forms will be sent to you.

You should absolutely be working Garage Sale! Working the sale provides funds for you to participate in youth activities and it is a one-of-a-kind outreach to our community.

If you know you are going to be working any part of the sale please let us know ASAP so we can have a name tag and t-shirt ready for you! You must have completed 7th grade to participate in Garage Sale.

There is a mandatory worker meeting on Sunday, May 19th, in the College Life Space, immediately following the 11:15 service.
