S.O.S. Ministries exist to rescue, restore and release others from drug, gang infested environments where abuse, poverty and violence are a way of life. S.O.S helps transform lives through the power of Jesus Christ. The ministry goal is to penetrate the neighborhoods in Bryan/College Station through high impact programs focused on spiritual and community transformation.

The mission at Still Creek Ranch is to rescue children from situations of abuse, neglect and abandonment. Still Creek provides a home and security, but also helps children grow in three ways, 1. giving them the Gospel of Christ, 2. a great education, and 3. teaching a work ethic through life on the ranch. Still Creek Ranch seeks to have a multigenerational impact by breaking the cycle of crisis, empowering children to make Biblical decisions, to invest in healthy relationships, and to reach their full, God-given potential.

The mission of The Bridge Ministries is to build relationships within the community through sharing hope in Christ, meeting needs in the community and recognizing the inherent value of every person. The goal of the food pantry is to help meet people where they are in the name of Jesus by providing food so they can use financial resources for other needs such as bills. In meeting a physical need, it is the desire to address the spiritual need for Jesus and to share his love.

The Brazos Church Pantry is a local non-profit organization that shares the love of Christ by providing food to those who need it in the Brazos Valley.The pantry, which operates with no paid staff and with the help of over 30 churches, survives on contributions and about 100 volunteers who work two hours a day, six days a week. Last year, the pantry provided food to more than 38,000 Brazos County residents. People suffering economic hardships or who have financial or medical emergencies tying up their funds are eligible to request food once a month.The pantry receives food in three ways: Some is donated by the churches and community organizations, some is purchased primarily through the Brazos Food Bank at a fraction of what it would cost retail, and some is provided from other sources when there is a need and funds are available.

Aggieland Pregnancy Outreach provides services in the following areas: support for women and men experiencing unplanned pregnancies, adoptions, and outreach to teen parents

Hope Pregnancy Center exists to serve women and men facing unplanned pregnancies. All services are confidential and free of charge. Services include verification of pregnancy using a clinical pregnancy test, communication of important medical information regarding the pregnancy, provision of ultrasound services by licensed health providers, peer counseling services, parent education programs and referrals. Hope Pregnancy is a member of CareNet, a national network of pregnancy medical centers and pregnancy resource centers.

The BSM is a ministry with the purpose of discipling students who attend the local colleges. Their primary avenue is weekly Bible studies and lunches for the students where the Bible is taught and discussed. They also host mission trips and have English classes for international student.

Kairos is a faith based, Christian, ecumenical, international prison ministry serving incarcerated men and women in in medium and maximum security prisons. The ministry is conducted by almost 100% volunteers and its basis is a 34 day short course in the Christian life that is presented twice a year in each prison (approx. 320) in which Kairos is established. The mission of Kairos is to build a Christian community within the darkness of the prison, among the inmates themselves. In each short course or walk conducted twice a year, 42 untrained inmates are selected to attend the Kairos walk for that long weekend.

Discovery is an avenue for international women to meet one another, to learn different customs and to become familiar with living in America. Discovery is unique to BCS and its volunteers demonstrate community, extend love and prayer, provide childcare and offer classes that assist and support women while they adjust to a new community. A variety of programs and classes are offered such as English language classes, sewing, music, painting, cooking, etc. Free classes are available for ladies and their preschool children.

Emmanuel Lighthouse Mission exists as a ministry of Emmanuel Baptist Church and seeks to provide transitional housing to women needing a new start in life. The ELM program provides a safe, drug and alcohol free environment for homeless women seeking to be set free from the chains of harmful addiction or in need of a safe place to birth their child. Through the ELM program, these women are introduced to the Biblical view of Christianity and the love found in the local body of Christ.

Twin City Mission has provided a home for the homeless, been a friend to the friendless and given hope to the hopeless by providing shelter, meals and clothing for over 50 years. Over the years, Twin City Mission has expanded its reach to the community by providing a variety of services through the Domestic Violence Service Program and Youth and Family Services Program.
