Re:generation

Re:generation is a discipleship-based recovery ministry that helps individuals address difficult life issues keeping them from experiencing abundant life in Christ. Re:gen is broader than recovery ministries that only address problems with addictions. Everyone has remnants of brokenness Christ wants to deliver them from. Re:gen has helped people work through anger, unforgiveness, depression, shame, and common addictions — any prevailing obstacle that interferes with freedom in Christ.

Re:gen begins every fall semester and continues through mid-May the following year. Those who commit to and register for re:gen by week 3 of the fall will be assigned a permanent small group who will journey with them through the two semesters of re:gen.

Here’s how a typical night of Re:gen looks:  Each Wednesday at 6 pm, doors open in Room 231 to gather with other participants for 15 minutes of refreshments and fellowship, followed by worship and a testimony of life change or encouragement from our pastoral team. By 6:35 pm, individuals will be dismissed to their assigned Re:gen small groups. The weekly session will end in time to pick up kids from their ministry areas by 8 pm.

Pre-requisites and Registration:  We encourage those interested in Re:gen to attend the MidWeek Open House the first week of each fall semester (August 16th, 2023) from 5 – 6:15 pm, which will give them an opportunity to meet one of our re:gen leaders and receive some printed information about the ministry. When you arrive on the first night (August 23rd), we’ll begin working through the Groundwork Lessons and give you an opportunity to register by the 3rd week. After you register, you will receive your Step Workbooks. The cost is $40 total for both semesters.

COUNSELING SERVICES

God expects us to need help. He has not called us to live in isolation without helpers. That’s why He’s provided many helpers for His children in the church and faith community. You and your family matter to God. Our church encourages and fully supports you seeking the help you need.

THE INTAKE PROCESS:  Laura Bauer, LCSW is a local counselor by vocation and serves as our church’s Living Well Ministries Associate. Her role is to direct our Re:generation recovery ministry as well as provide counseling intake services.
