JOURNEY GROUPS

Journey Groups

Every believer shares a common calling to abide in intimacy with Christ, live on mission, build up the church, and make other multiplying disciples. This looks different for everyone, because God uniquely made, gifted, and called each person differently. But we all are given the sacred responsibility to yield to the Spirit’s design, gifting, and call to share Jesus with everyone. The Journey is a 9-month process that helps believers grow in abiding intimacy and kingdom fruitfulness.

Journey to the Inner Chamber is a 6-week pre-study that introduces the key concepts of The Journey, giving an opportunity for men and women to decide whether or not they want to commit to the longer 9-month discipleship process. This no-cost pre-study meets during MidWeek on Wednesdays, twice each semester. Each session of Journey to the Inner Chamber is repeated at 4 pm on Sundays (but without childcare) for those unable to attend MidWeek programming.

Journey Groups

Accountability Groups

Accountability Groups are for 4-6 same-gender disciples who meet weekly throughout the year at a day and time that works best for them. We encourage those who have not been intentionally discipled to first begin by joining a Journey Group for 9 months. They may also begin by using the Multiply: Disciples Making Disciples resource in an Accountability Group.

Those in Accountability Groups commit to the spiritual disciplines of scripture reading and prayer during the week, share transparently during regular get-togethers, and encourage each other to share Jesus in places of personal influence.
