Worship Choir is a mixed group open to all ages that leads worship in the 10:25 worship service in addition to special concerts and musicals at Easter and Christmas. Rehearsals are on Wednesday nights at 7:00pm. During the fall and spring, there is an additional optional rehearsal time on Sunday nights at 6:00pm.
The Broadman Singers is a mixed choir open to Senior Adults who love to sing! This choir performs arrangements of traditional hymns and familiar Gospel music in the 10:25 worship service several times a year. They meet for rehearsal and fellowship each Wednesday afternoon at 4:00, ending in time to attend Wednesday Night Supper and Bible Study.
Youth Choir is open to students entering 7th to 12th grade. The group is composed of students who have a desire not only to use their voices for God’s glory but to lead others into a more intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. Youth Choir rehearses in the fall and spring on Sunday afternoons from 5:00 to 7:00pm with a concert in the fall and a mission trip in the spring.
The Orchestra of First Baptist Bryan leads worship several times a year in the 10:30 worship service during the fall and spring in addition to special concerts and musicals at Easter and Christmas. Rehearsals are on Wednesday nights at 7:00pm in the Worship Center. This group is open to musicians of all ages.
Solo Deo Gloria is a handbell instrumental group. The group will lead special music at least once a month in the tradional worship serivce, but you may find them playing in the contemporary service from time to time.
Worship in the Contemporary Service is lead each Sunday by one of two alternating Praise Teams. Each team has vocalists and a band including a variety of instruments such as drums, piano, guitars, flute, and violin. Musicians interested in joining a Praise Team should the Worship Arts Office to arrange an interview.
Many times media teams are only noticed when things sound or look odd, but the FBC Bryan Media Team is dedicated to continually improving communication from the worship stage to those listening and watching. Our team consist of many folks passionate about using their "tech" minds to the glory of God. If you are looking for an area to serve in a unique way, this will be the place for you. Our team consists of volunteers in sound, lights, television, and worship screens.
