Mothers of Preschoolers

What is MOPS

MOPS International is dedicated to meeting the needs of every mother of preschoolers. MOPS believes moms are world influencers and allows moms to connect to a community of women, in their own neighborhoods, to embrace the journey of motherhood.

We believe that better moms make a better world.

When happens during a MOPS meeting?

  • Discussion:
The small group offers moms a chance to share their successes, failures, questions, and concerns. It is during these times that a mom realizes that she is not alone, and lifelong friendships are formed.
  • Teaching:
Topics presented at MOPS meetings celebrate motherhood and meet a mom's unique needs during this season of life.
  • Creative Activities:
Through creative projects and presentations, women are encouraged to experience the sense of accomplishment that comes with trying and finishing new things.
  • MOPPETS:
During most MOPS meetings, children are cared for in a program called MOPPETS, where they experience love in a preschool-like setting. The workers in MOPPETS are equipped with excellent training and thorough background checks.

A message from a MOPS mom:

If you are new to town or just need some "mom" time, I encourage you to become a member of MOPS. I moved here 5 years ago and didn't know anyone. Google provided the information about the FBC MOPS group, and while I was very nervous, I attended my first meeting. Since I have been in MOPS, I have made fabulous friends, helped some of our moms overcome postpartum depression as well as many other challenges presented by motherhood. At MOPS you are not alone. We all have wonderful days with our children and other days we want to hide in the closet and cry. We have all been there. FBC MOPS has changed my marriage, friendships, my relationship with Jesus and made me a much better mom! I want the same opportunity for you. - Amanda Krotulski
