What to Expect

We invite you to join us at First Baptist Bryan this Sunday!  We want you to have a positive experience when visiting our church; here are some answers to some common questions a visitor might have.

What happens on Sunday?

  • 9:00AM: Contemporary Service
  • 10:30AM: Traditional Service

Sunday mornings at First Baptist Bryan feature the opportunity to engage in worship and Bible study.  Each worship service features congregational singing.  In the Contemporary Service, the music is led by a Praise Band featuring guitars, drums, and singers.  In the Traditional Service, the music is led by a full choir, piano, organ, and, on occasion, the church orchestra.  Both services are centered on a clear, practical, and relevant message presented by our pastor.  Throughout the service, you are welcome to join in or sit back and observe — however you feel most comfortable. The dress is casual and varied so come as you are.

How do I get there?

We are located at 3100 Cambridge Dr. in Bryan between the Briarcrest and University exits (just off Highway 6). Exit Briarcrest from the highway and go West onto Briarcrest. Take a left at Freedom Blvd. and the Church is directly ahead of you!

Where can I park?

Visitor parking is available on the North and East sides of the building.  Families with children may prefer to park on the East side of the building as it is closest to the Children’s Welcome Center.

How do I find a Bible Study?

Our friendly greeters at the Welcome Center in the atrium can help you find out more about a class or get directions to a specific class.

What about children?

Sunday School for children of all ages is available during both worship service hours.  Greeters at the Children’s Welcome Center at the East end of the building (closest to the highway) would be happy to register your child, print out security tags, and guide you to the appropriate classroom.
