Virtual Prayer Room

“The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.” - James 5:16
The Intercessory Prayer Ministry is an organized prayer effort involving volunteers who have a sincere desire to serve God and whose purpose is to stand in the gap at all times to pray on behalf of the church and its ministries as well as the needs of others.

The Prayer Chapel is manned by faithful members who give the same hour every week to pray on behalf of the needs of other people. During the hour of intercession, volunteers review needs on the prayer boards, pray for those needs, and write Prayergrams to those for whom they have prayed. The Prayer Chapel is available to intercessors 24 hours a day.

We would invite you to prayerfully consider becoming a regular intercessor in this vital ministry. Before being assigned a time and before being given access to the Prayer Chapel each intercessor must go through a time of orientation and instruction.

Intercessor – one who pleads on behalf of another
Prayer – an entreaty or supplication; communication with God
Ministry – to give help, to serve
